Running a business with your husband can be really good. It can also be lonely, confusing, exhausting, and some days make you wonder why in the world you ever thought working together was a good idea.
I created A Plumber’s Wife because I don’t think women doing this should have to figure all of it out alone.
You need women around you who actually get it!
Not just friends who love you and mean well, but women who have sat at the kitchen table talking about payroll, worked through disagreements with their husband, raised kids in the middle of a growing company, questioned where they fit, and kept going.
And I don’t want this to be just about what I’ve learned. I want to learn from the women who have been doing this longer than me too. That’s why I started the One Hundred Wives Project!

Running a business with your spouse is no small feat.
My husband Brad and I have spent the last 15 years building Big Birge Plumbing while raising six kids. We’ve learned a lot the hard way, and we’re still figuring plenty of it out.
